Prudential Thailand Wins Cyber Hygiene Award

Prudential Thailand achieved a silver-level Certificate as the organisation that complied with the necessary basic cybersecurity standards from the NCSA Cyber Hygiene Certificates Program 2022, organised by the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) to assess and develop Thailand’s cyber security capabilities in various agencies, such as government agencies, the private sector, the education sector, and other types of agencies to complement the Global Cybersecurity Index (GCI) or International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The certification is a testament to Prudential Thailand's strong commitment to enhancing its cybersecurity capabilities.

Mr. Bundit (Kenny) Jiamanukoonkit, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Thailand, said that “I am very pleased and thankful for all our employees who have contributed to this success. This certificate demonstrates Prudential Thailand’s strong performance in managing cyber risks. Not only did we improve our cybersecurity system to be highly secured, we also pay very close attention to our personnel, by having a team that directly manages Cybersecurity and having all our employees go through exercises to prevent Phishing Emails and training on Cybersecurity. All of these have allowed Prudential Thailand to manage risk effectively, safely secure data, and fortify our customers’ trust.”

Moreover, in February, BitSight Security Rating, a trusted security rating system used by more than 2,000 businesses globally, has rated Prudential Thailand a score of 790 in Cyber Risk Management, which is considered to be at the Advanced level. This reinforces another achievement in cybersecurity of Prudential Thailand.
