Supports Scenic Half Marathon Rayong 2024

Prudential Thailand reaffirmed its commitment to the ‘Health is Wealth’ concept by supporting the Scenic Half Marathon Rayong 2024, the second running event in this year’s Scenic Run Series. The campaign, titled “STEP UP, START NOW: Better Health Together,” encouraged runners to participate in the scenic marathon. Participants had the opportunity to enjoy the picturesque landscapes of Rayong’s beaches, savor delicious local dishes, and explore the 10 km and 21 km routes along Laem Charoen Beach, Saeng Chan Beach, and Suchada Beach. This initiative not only promotes health tourism among Thais but also contributes to local communities by generating income, aligning with the global trend of Eco Sport Tourism.

Mr. Bundit (Kenny) Jiamanukoonkit, CEO of Prudential Thailand said, “The Scenic Half Marathon Rayong is the second running event of this year that Prudential supports and invites Thais to join for a better health. We believe that good health is the foundation of a secure life. Therefore, we continue the campaign ‘STEP UP, START NOW: Better Health Together,’ which was launched at the end of last year and continues into this year. We started the first event with the ‘SCENIC HALF MARATHON CHANTHABURI 2024,’ which attracted many runners.”

“Prudential Thailand actively supports the leading national running event, the Scenic Marathon Series, spanning5 landmarks in 4 tourist provinces throughout the year. Our goal is to promote holistic health for Thais and their families, while also incorporating nature conservation concepts. This aligns with the current trend of Eco Sport Tourism. All activities are organized according to international standards,” Mr. Bundit added.

The ‘Scenic Marathon Series’ is a running event under the standards of the Athletics Association of Thailand and World Athletics. It will be held in 5 major tourist destinations across 4 provinces in Thailand throughout the year: Chanthaburi, Rayong, Krabi, and Prachuap Khiri Khan. This Eco-sport Tourism event not only promotes health but also encourages tourism, distributes income to local communities, and integrates conservation concepts. These efforts align with Prudential Thailand’s mission of driving business alongside the sustainable development of communities, society, and the environment.

In addition, Prudential Thailand has brought various fun and health-promoting activities to the ‘Scenic Half Marathon Rayong,’ such as a new water tunnel that is twice the size of the previous one, photo booths, cheer zones, a foot-soaking area for runners, and premium souvenirs. They are also offering free personal accident insurance with coverage up to 100,000 baht to provide protection and peace of mind for runners during the event.
