Prudential Thailand is advancing the campaign “STEP UP, START NOW,” inviting Thais to continuously care for their health with the “Scenic Half Marathon Pranburi 2025.” This event reinforces the concept of 'Health is Wealth,' with the belief that good health is true wealth. The event saw participation from over 3,000 professional and amateur runners, who enjoyed the unique and beautiful viewpoints of Pranburi, including Pak Nam Pran Beach and the iconic three palm trees. The event also supports local tourism and distributes income to the local community.
Mr. Bundit Jiamanukoonkit, Chief Executive Officer of Prudential Life Assurance (Thailand) Public Company Limited, or Prudential Thailand, stated: "In 2025, Prudential Thailand continues to promote strong health among Thais. We are therefore continuing our support for the leading national running event, the Scenic Marathon Series, as we did last year. This includes races in Prachuap Khiri Khan, Chanthaburi, Rayong, and Krabi. The Scenic Marathon Series has long been popular among both professional and amateur runners. This event is also part of the campaign 'Step Up Start Now,' through which Prudential is committed to providing comprehensive health and life security for Thais of all ages, in line with our purpose 'For Every Life, For Every Future.' We believe that having each other makes every day better. We also believe that true wealth is holistic health. Therefore, we invite all Thais to take care of their health, especially through running or walking, which is the easiest way to start. With just a pair of sneakers, we can move our bodies to achieve good health every day."
The Scenic Half Marathon Pranburi 2025 is the first race of the year and has also received the World Athletics Road Race Label certification. Held under the theme "Run by the Pran Seaside," the race takes place on the Scenic Route at Pak Nam Pran Beach Park in Prachuap Khiri Khan. The event features four distances: a 3-kilometer beach run, a 3-kilometer surfskate, a 5-kilometer fun run, a 10-kilometer mini marathon, and a 21.1-kilometer half marathon. This event continues to emphasize Eco Sport Tourism, promoting exercise through running while supporting tourism and nature conservation. Participants in the 3-kilometer run will receive free pineapples, adding more fun to the event.
Additionally, Prudential Thailand is providing personal accident insurance coverage for all runners, across all distances, up to 100,000 baht. This ensures protection and peace of mind for participants. The event also offers special health care plans at discounted rates for attendees. Moreover, there are various fun and health-promoting activities, such as a water tunnel by Prudential, photo booths, cheering squads, a foot-soaking zone for runners, and souvenirs.
