The insured has committed an insurance fraud.

Pre-existing Condition:
The company will not pay according to the benefits specified in this supplementary contract for pre-existing chronic, injury or illness (include any complication) conditions that have not been cured prior to this supplementary contract becomes effective for the first time, unless: The insured has informed the company whereas the company accepts a risk and agrees to underwrite a risk without exclusion, or The chronic disease, injury, or illness (include any complication) fails to show the noticeable symptoms and has never been examined or diagnosed by physician. Or the insured has never visited or consulted with the physician in a period of 5 years before the supplementary contract becomes effective for the first time, and within a period of 3 years after this supplementary contract becomes effective for the first time.
Waiting Period : Special Health Rider
The company will not pay benefits as specified in this supplementary contract for treatment of Illness, medical expenses commencing within any of the following periods of time from the effective date of this Rider, or on the date that the company has approved to increase the benefit amounts of this Rider, whichever occurs later:

Any illness occurring within 30 days, or

Any of the following illnesses that occur during the 120 days, whichever occurs later:

Tumor, Cyst, or all types of cancer

Hemorrhoid

All types of hernia
-
Pterygium or Cataract
-
Tonsillectomy or Adenoid
-
All types of stone diseases
-
Varicose veins in the leg

Endometriosis
In case the company approves to increase the benefit amounts, the company shall not cover only the increasing benefit amount. And “covered period” conditions shall not apply if the insured suffers the injury or undergoes an emergency operation which is not caused by a pre-existing condition.
Waiting Period : Cancer
This rider will not cover any claim arising due to the occurrence or acknowledgement of cancer or abnormalities confirmed by a physician and have clearly proven that it is related to the cancer, as defined by the terms of this rider, which initially being diagnosed during the 90-day waiting period from the effective date or date of reinstatement, or the date that the company approves to increase the sum assured amount of this rider, whichever is the latest. In this regard, in case the company approves to increase the sum assured amount, the company shall not cover the increasing sum assured amount only.

Condition arises due to functional birth defect or structural birth defects, or genetic disorder, abnormal physical development, unless this supplementary contract has been in effect for more than 1 year and the symptom occurs after the insured reaches 16 years of age.

Cosmetic surgery or treatment, or treatment for skin problems, acne, melasma, freckles, dandruff, hair loss or body weight control, or any optional surgery except for wound care and dressing caused by covered accidents.

Pregnancy, miscarriage, abortion, delivery, pregnancy complications, fertility and infertility treatment (including evaluation), sterilization or contraception.

AIDS or venereal disease or sexually transmitted diseases.

Drugs, cigarettes, alcohol or psychoactive substances addiction treatment or rehabilitation.
Some Exclusions : Cancer

Abnormalities confirmed by a physician and have clearly proven that it is related to the cancer or cancer existing prior to the effective date of this rider, or the date that the company approves to increase the sum assured amount, whichever is the latest. In this regard, in case the company approves to increase the sum assured amount, the company shall not cover the increasing sum assured amount only, unless the life assured makes a declaration for the company’s acknowledgment and the company accepts such risk without conditions to exclude such coverage.

Suicide, or self-harm, or attempt to do so.

Inhale, eat, drink, inject or intake toxic substances while sane or insane.

The insured refuses to receive medical treatment, advice or refuses to follow doctor’s advice

This is a life insurance product, not a bank deposit. To get the maximum benefits from insurance policy, the applicant should continuously pay the premium through to the end of the premium payment period and holds the policy until the end of the policy contract. If the policy is terminated before the end of the contract, the applicant may not receive cash benefit in the amount equivalent to the maximum policy benefit he/she is entitled to, or in the amount equivalent to all premiums paid.

The insured is responsible for paying premium. An insurance agent or broker that accepts a premium payment by the insured is solely for the purpose of providing service to the insured.

The applicant should understand coverage details and conditions thoroughly before deciding to buy an insurance. The applicant should study detailed information regarding benefit payment provisions, terms and conditions, exclusions and policy benefits in the policy.

The company may adjust the premium on the policy anniversary date based on age and occupation class change of the insured person and/or increasing of medical expenses and/or claims experience portfolio under this rider which have been approved by the registrar, and the company will send prior written notice to the insured at least 30 days.
