Cancer Rider Benefits |
If, while still alive, the insured is first diagnosed with cancer, and/or the cancer diagnosis is first confirmed by a physician, the company will pay benefits as specified in the Policy Schedule. |

A health insurance premium is eligible for tax deduction up to THB 25,000 per annum, and cannot exceed THB 100,000 per annum for taxable income deduction when combined with life insurance premium (according to the discretion of the Revenue Department). |
The waiting period for cancer rider
The company will not cover any claim arising from the occurrence or acknowledgement of cancer or abnormalities confirmed by a physician and have clearly proven to be related to the cancer, as defined by the terms of this rider, which initially being diagnosed during the 90-day waiting period from the effective date or date of reinstatement, or the date that the company approves to increase the sum assured amount of this rider, whichever is the latest. In this regard, in case the company approves an increase of the sum assured amount, the company shall not cover only the increased sum assured amount.
The following is an example of exclusions for cancer rider
Any abnormalities confirmed by a physician that are clearly proven to be related to the cancer, or to cancer that existed prior to the effective date of this rider, or the date of reinstatement, or the date that the company approves an increase in the sum assured amount, whichever is the latest.

To get the maximum benefits from insurance policy, the insured should continuously pay the premium through to the end of the premium payment period and holds the policy until the end of the policy contract.
